Volunteer
Volunteering your time to a Nazareth House can be a highly rewarding experience. Our volunteers are essential in bringing joy and companionship to our residents, and embody the core values set out by the Sisters of Nazareth. There are many ways you can get involved:
- Spend time with residents: Share a friendly conversation, play a game, or accompany a resident on a walk.
- Assist with events: Help us to organise and host seasonal gatherings, celebrations and outings.
- Help us with fundraising: Provide us with support raising money to fund projects, initiatives, and improvements to our Houses.
- Lead activities: Host in-house entertainment, lead a group exercise class, or offer your musical or artistic talents.
We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds, and training is provided to ensure you feel comfortable and supported. Even a few hours a month can brighten a resident’s day and build connections that matter.
Some of our Houses are supported by a Friends of Nazareth group, offering you the opportunity to get together with like-minded people and volunteer together.

Financial donations allow us to improve our facilities, offer diverse activities and ensure that every resident receives the care they deserve. You can choose how you would like to help through a one-time or monthly donation.
Every contribution is hugely appreciated and helps provide our residents with comfort and care.
