Teresa HandfordGeneral Manager
The General Manager is a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a Specialist Practitioner qualification in dementia care. She has worked in management roles within the care sector for 25 years and brings well-rounded, seasoned experience in leading teams and supporting high-quality care delivery.
She understands the importance of a strong team approach and is committed to ensuring that staff feel supported, skilled and confident in delivering the best possible service for the people in their care. She also holds a PGCE and is actively involved in supporting and developing staff skills to meet the wide-ranging needs of those living in, or considering moving into, a care environment.
The General Manager fosters a positive team spirit that promotes enthusiasm, engagement and enjoyment. This approach helps ensure that the services delivered at Nazareth House are of the highest standard, enabling residents to live in comfortable, safe and happy surroundings.
