We also provide nursery care services to infants and children. Working closely with the Sisters of Nazareth, we are dedicated to serving individuals and families with dignity, respect, and love.

The Services We Offer
Residential Care
Our residential care facilities provide a supportive environment for older people who require assistance with daily activities but wish to maintain a sense of independence. Our priority is to ensure that all our residents can enjoy safe, comfortable accommodation and an engaging lifestyle, with access to social activities, high-quality dining facilities, and personalised care tailored to their unique needs.
Nursing Care
We offer comprehensive nursing care for individuals who need ongoing medical attention due to chronic illness, injury, or disability. Our qualified registered nurses provide 24 hour support and expertise, delivering personalised healthcare within comfortable, well-presented accommodation.
Dementia Care
Combining knowledge and experience, we offer a secure and compassionate space for individuals living with dementia. We work collaboratively with family members and loved ones to get to know our residents through the eyes of those closest to them, and work to fully understand their individual qualities and preferences.
Palliative Care
Our palliative care services focus on providing proactive support and pain management for individuals with serious, life-limiting illnesses where recovery is not expected. We work closely with families and healthcare professionals to offer comfort, dignity, and emotional support during the most sensitive times, ensuring that residents experience the best possible quality of life.

Who We Are
Nazareth Care in the United Kingdom is the operating arm of the Congregation of the Sisters of Nazareth, a Catholic religious Congregation. Unselfish concern for the good of others is shown through patience, kindness, trust, hope, endurance, truth and a strong affection. We aim to create an environment of warmth and respect where residents feel truly valued and supported, and cultivate a genuine sense of family that celebrates each individual’s dignity and worth. The principle of love is reflected in every interaction, from the smallest gestures to the most significant decisions.

Being open and attentive to the whole person, spiritually, physically and emotionally, we show empathy for the suffering of others and try to relieve that suffering. We demonstrate a heartfelt commitment to the wellbeing of our residents, striving to understand their unique challenges and experiences, and responding with sensitivity and support. We adapt care approaches to maintain dignity at all times, sharing in both joys and challenges to create a sense of trust and companionship.

In all circumstances we persevere calmly with understanding and endurance. Patience shines through in the time our staff dedicate to listening attentively to residents’ stories, understanding their unique needs, and allowing them the space to express themselves without rush. Respectful communication means regarding our residents thoughts, concerns, and feedback to ensure they feel truly heard and understood.

The unique dignity of each person is held in high esteem and with special consideration. Without exception, we show thoughtfulness, courtesy and care. This includes taking time to learn about each resident’s personal history, cultural background, interests, and preferences, and encouraging them to make decisions about their daily lives, such as meal choices, activities, and personal schedules.

We uphold what is fair, decent, respecting his or her rights in a balanced and fair manner. We respect residents’ legal and ethical rights, including their right to privacy, autonomy, and informed decision-making. Moreover, we maintain an inclusive culture that values diversity, ensuring that no resident, family member or staff member is treated unfairly based on race, gender, religion, disability, or other personal characteristics.

We welcome and receive all into a warm, friendly and open atmosphere. We engender hospitality to make residents, their families, and visitors feel at home, fostering a sense of belonging, comfort, and community through thoughtful practices and attitudes. This includes designing inviting living quarters, and providing comfortable spaces for those in our care to spend quality time with their loved ones.
