As the very first House built by the Sisters of Nazareth in 1857, Nazareth House Hammersmith is a beloved part of our organisation’s history and today remains at the heart of the local community. Located in a vibrant district of West London, residents can expect to enjoy the convenience transport links and access to a wide range of amenities, whilst also being able to retreat into the site’s tranquil grounds and escape the buzz of the city.

We are currently seeking to honour this beautiful, historic care home by raising funds to embark on a comprehensive refurbishment of the existing building that will increase the longevity of the space and enhance our ability to provide outstanding care to all our residents. More information on the intended refurbishment can be found here . If you would be interested in supporting our plans, you can make a donation by following the link below.

Meet our Team

    Jutta StaudeGeneral Manager

My career began in hospitality, where I worked as a General Manager in four- and five-star hotels after completing a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management. Over nine years ago, I followed a calling into the care sector, bringing with me a strong foundation in service, people leadership, and the value of creating welcoming environments.

I went on to complete a degree in Management in Health & Social Care and have been a Registered Manager in nursing and dementia care homes since 2016. I am also proud to be a Dementia Champion for the Alzheimer’s Society, and I enjoy introducing relatives and team members to dementia care in the most positive, compassionate way possible.

At Nazareth House Hammersmith, my daily goal is to ensure every resident leads a happy, stimulating, and fulfilling life. I believe the only way to achieve this is by delivering truly individualised care—care that’s rooted in love, guided by compassion, and carried out by people who take the time to understand each resident’s unique story.

Our team is dedicated to creating a homely and inclusive environment, where hospitality is felt in every interaction and respect is shown to everyone we support. We understand the importance of patience, especially in dementia care, and strive to meet each person exactly where they are, with empathy and understanding.

We also recognise that families are central to our residents’ wellbeing, and their trust means everything to us. Hearing positive feedback from relatives is one of the most rewarding aspects of our work—it confirms that our care reflects not just best practice, but also justice and fairness for each individual.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, baking, and football, and I’m a passionate Liverpool supporter. I also love travelling and exploring new cultures, people, and food, and I’m proud to have visited over 30 countries so far. Family time is very important to me, and I cherish every opportunity to spend time with them.
