Teresa HandfordGeneral Manager
The General manager is a registered mental health nurse with a specialist practitioner qualification in care of Dementia. She has been in a managers post within the care environment for 25 years and has a well-rounded and seasoned knowledge of what it takes to facilitate a team approach. Teams are effective in delivering the best service possible for the people in her care. She also holds a PGCE and is active in supporting and developing staff skills to meet the needs of a wide range of needs of the people considering moving into a care environment. The manager fosters a team spirit that promotes enthusiasm, engagement, and enjoyment. This approach enhances the services being delivered to the people living in Nazareth House to be at its optimum level to enable them to live in comfortable, safe and happy surroundings.
